The purpose for participating in sports is not just to compete and win. Sports is also a good way to learn values such as respect, teamwork and tolerance. Through our CHALLENGER Sports programmes, we hope to:
1 Encourage an active and sporting lifestyle
2 Educate Social & Emotional Learning competencies such as discipline and stress management.
3 Promote the concept of sportsmanship and ‘winning is not all that is’ mind set.
4 Expose youth to alternative sports events
To ensure that our participants receive a quality coaching and sports experience, we will only deploy coaches who are certified by Internationally-recognised sports institutions in our programmes.

** This programme is endorsed under the Sports Education Programme(SEP). SEP is a collaboration between SSC and the Ministry of Education where schools are eligible for a $10,000 dollar-to-dollar matching grant for taking up endorsed sports programmes.
