08 Jan From Singapore to Anji: CAMP CHALLENGE joined OLAE at World Camp Expo 2025
Outdoor Learning & Adventure Education (OLAE) Association sent a delegation of 20 industry leaders and business owners from Singapore to the Word Camp Expo 2025 conference in Anji. The purpose of their attendance was to:
- Explore opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the regional outdoor learning landscape.
- Share ideas, research, and practices in camp and experiential education.
- Work towards building a safe, sustainable, and significant Asia Pacific outdoor education community.
Set against the lush, eco-friendly backdrop of Anji, the expo brought together innovators, educators, and industry leaders shaping the future of CAMPing, youth development, and outdoor experiences.
This year, CAMP CHALLENGE was proud to participate as an exhibitor, representing Singapore on an international stage and contributing to conversations that are redefining how young people learn, grow, and connect through outdoor experiences.
A Global Platform for the CAMP Industry
Held at the Anji International Convention & Exhibition Center, World Camp Expo 2025 was more than just an exhibition. With over 250 exhibitors, 30,000 visitors, and 22,000 square metres of showcase space, the event served as a powerful meeting point for the global CAMP ecosystem.
The expo spotlighted key areas including:
- CAMPing education and youth development
- Outdoor and glamping industries
- Smart campsite solutions and sustainability
- Safety technologies and programme innovation
- Educational tourism and cultural exchange
For CAMP CHALLENGE, the expo was an opportunity to share our experiential learning approach, exchange ideas with global peers, and gain valuable insights into emerging trends shaping the industry.
Meaningful Conversations, Real Connections
Beyond the booths and exhibits, World Camp Expo 2025 was about connection. The event created space for meaningful dialogue through conferences, forums, workshops, and business matching sessions. These interactions reinforced one clear message: outdoor education and CAMP programmes are becoming increasingly global, collaborative, and purpose-driven.
As an exhibitor, CAMP CHALLENGE engaged with educators, CAMP operators, equipment innovators, and youth development leaders from around the world. Each conversation reaffirmed the importance of intentional programme design, safety, sustainability, and impactful learning experiences for youths.
Looking Ahead
Participating in World Camp Expo 2025 marked an important milestone for CAMP CHALLENGE. It strengthened our belief that CAMP are not just recreational spaces, but powerful platforms for growth, leadership, and lifelong learning.
As the global CAMP community continues to evolve, we remain committed to learning, innovating, and contributing to a shared vision where outdoor experiences empower youths to thrive in an ever-changing world.
World Camp Expo 2025 may have ended, but the conversations, connections, and inspiration continue. And this is just the beginning.
