The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore

The organisers and instructors take time to understand our needs and have shown themselves to be good at adapting their signature programmes to our needs. They have been largely accommodating to our additional requests as well.

The Girls’ Brigade Singapore (Westwood Secondary School)

Coordinating with CAMP CHALLENGE was a breeze with my queries and doubts promptly being addressed. Overall, both the students and teachers/officers had an enjoyable scaling the high elements and with some overcoming their fear of heights. Big shout out to the instructors for being so patient and encouraging especially towards those who were extremely fearful.

The Salvation Army (Teen’s camp)

Hi Kassandra and team at CAMP CHALLENGE,

On behalf of The Salvation Army, Prison Support Services, Kids-In-Play, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to you and your team for gracefully helping us out in the planning and execution of our Children’s camp 2015. It was a success! Our children enjoyed themselves thoroughly, not only in the camp fire, but also in the dormitories where they slept as it was a wonderful first time experience for some of them. I believed our children gained some invaluable lessons from staying there, be it leadership or independent skills.

Our sincere thanks to the staff who were involved in the high and low elements activity as they were able to carry out alternative activities in such a short time and still carry them out in such an engaging manner!

Our sincere thanks to the staff who stayed back late to help us set up and tear down the campfire site, and also to the staff who set up the audio and display at the MPH on day one.

It has been a pleasure and we look forward to partnering with Camp Challenge in future again.

Thank you once again and have a great day. Merry Christmas and Happy new year in advance 🙂

The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore

On behalf of 57th J Boys Brigade Company, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you and your dedicated team Norman, Erwin, Andy, Hakim, Dave, Brendan, P.D. for planning and executing an enjoyable leadership CAMP for our Boys.

Over the course of two days, our Boys have learnt much about leadership and what it entails, such as delegation, team-work and encouragement. Through the innovative games played, such as geo-caching and the ice-breakers, they were able to apply the many aspects of leadership mentioned earlier.

Not only were the learning sessions good, the fun element such as the night campfire was equally, if not more exciting and entertaining for both our Boys and us. Our Boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves that night and we hope that you also had as much fun as they did.

One highlight of the CAMP was the high elements on the 2nd morning. We were glad that our Boys learnt much more about themselves what it means to dare, to challenge, and to overcome their fears. We felt that it is a good practice of CAMP-CHALLENGE to encourage, but never to force their trainees to attempt the high elements, it being a matter of choice. Our Boys learnt much that day about themselves whether it was that they had hidden reserves of courage they never thought they had, or whether it was a lessons were invaluable in moulding up of their characters.

On the logistics side, the food and the accommodation was great. We were also satisfied that there was sufficient medical attention on standby during the station games.

It has truly been a pleasure working with you and your team.

We (and our Boys) look forward to future CAMP-CHALLENGE!
