Timor Leste’s Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao dedicated a two-hour visit to CAMP CHALLENGE Sembawang as part of his itinerary on a visit to Singapore on 13th July 2009. |

The 3-hectares site nestled in Sembawang is dedicated specifically to adventure-based learning, for both corporate teambuilding and youth development programmes. The venue which used to be a Prison Staff Training School, retains a quaint and mostly untouched old world charm.

As part of his tour of CAMP CHALLENGE’s Sembawang site, PM Gusmao witnessed an actual corporate teambuilding programme in action. Participants from A*Star Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology were pleasantly surprised by PM Gusmao’s unannounced visit.
